Do you believe?

This past week we've been watching the Passion of Christ in Theology and I must say that is such a touching and powerful movie. I was sick the day we watched that scourging though, but honestly I'm glad because I saw it once when the movie came out when I was younger and I still remember how upsetting it is. Today I came back to school and we watched his walk to Calvary. He was so bloody and in so much pain! And then the put that cross onto his wounded skin and I instantly felt the pain our Savior was enduring. He fell so many times in this movie and each time he fell I also felt that pain. It was so intense and it honestly made me sick to my stomach. The thought that those people did that to him, but a few days before on Palm Sunday those same people who chanted "CRUCIFY HIM, CRUCIFY HIM!" were praising him as he rode in on a donkey.

God loved us so much, he became man.. and what did we do? We killed him and had him crucified.

One of the times during his walk to Calvary, He fell and He landed on his head.. with the crown of thorns hit the ground and I felt his pain as it went into his head. At that moment, I wanted to go crawl under a rock and just died for sinning and making Him endure that pain. It's a very powerful movie, and I can honestly say I think of Jesus in a whole new perspective. I always believed in Jesus and loved him. But after seeing that today, my thoughts on Jesus has changed. I honestly want to try and make Jesus a bigger part in my life, especially after seeing that.

Whether you believe in GOd or not, it's the truth and i honestly think if you haven't seen this movie you should watch it. It's graphic and painful to watch, but imagine you were Jesus. He didn't have to do that, but he carried out his will to God the Father. I can promise you after watching it your thoughts of Him will change and you will have a new respect for Jesus. Also, you will have a new respect for Mary the mother of God.

If you plan to watch a movie make sure you have tissues!

God Bless You ALl!

you ask, i'll answer (: http://formspring.me/tscream

Life Is So Underestimated.

On Monday, February 15 a fellow class mate was injured terribly in a snowboarding accident. He went off a jump and didn't do something right and he fell an land on his back. He was instantly rushed to a hospital in Philadelphia in a helicopter. He is undergoing many surgeries and he has no feeling in his legs. Rumors have gone around today at school that he has feelings in his legs, but also that rumor has been shot down many times. SO please, keep my friend Lenny in your prayers for a full recovery without him being paralyzed.

But the point of this blog isn't to depress anyone reading it. The point of this blog is that we all underestimate how short life is and how any freak accident can either end your life early or end in you being injured for the rest of your life. It's sad that you don't realize how short it is until something drastic happens like this incident. What are we waiting for? Why do we all sit around and say I'll do it tomorrow? What if there is no tomorrow? Not to be negative, but it's the truth. Our lives can end at ANY MOMENT and we need to live each day like it's our last day on Earth. We don't have time to walk around depressed because something dumb happened, we need to try our hardest and be happy and just think "I could be dead right now." Sure that's a little intense, but it's the truth.

SO let's live each day like it's our last and live up our lives. So when we actually are on our death bed or something like that we can think "I'm glad I lived my life that way" instead of "Damn, I wish I did that."

LIFE IS TO SHORT, SO PLEASE.. LIVE EACH DAY LIKE IT'S YOUR LAST BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN AND IF YOU'LL MAKE IT ANOTHER DAY.
Keep this in mind, and also please keep Lenny in your thoughts and prayers. <3
